BSSO AGM & ConferenceThe AGM and Awards Dinner dance will be held on Saturday 4 February 2012 at THE VILLAGE HOTEL WALSALL, TEMPUS DRIVE, TEMPUS TEN, WALSALL, WEST MIDLANDS, WS2 8TJ. The AGM will be held in the afternoon (start time 1pm) and usually lasts about 3 hours. All full members of the BSSO are entitled to vote at the meeting and guests are always welcome to observe. The awards dinner dance commences at 6.30pm for 7pm and will continue until around 1am. Everyone is encouraged to come along with their families and friends. Hotel accommodation is available at the venue. Members wishing to book should call the booking line on 01922 633661 and quote reference ‘BSSO 040212’. Rooms are available at £50 per room including breakfast. The special rate is only valid for a set amount of time. A specific number of rooms have been put aside for us and this will be allocated on a first come first served basis, so get booking! There is also a Holiday Inn Express next door. To find the venue take Junction 10 M6 (if heading north it's on the right behind KFC, if heading south it's on the left behind KFC). Dinner tickets cost £37 for adults and £15 for children under 16 (child’s meal). Please send a cheque, made payable to the 'BSSO', to Geoff Mason, Overners' Anchor, 21 Albert Street, Cowes, Isle of Wight, PO31 7ND. Don't forget to include a note of the names of the guests attending, those who are under 16 and whether any special diets are required (vegetarian, vegan, coeliac, etc). I will also need a return address so that I can send the tickets to you. All ticket requests should be with me by 14 January 2012 at the latest. Reduced rate dinner tickets I’m afraid that the ConDem cuts continue to bite hard, so this year we have to retain our discount ticket policy from last year. This means that we will be offering tickets at the reduced rate of £27, so it’s a £10 discount! To qualify for this offer members will need to have competed at six of the events that we held this year. Unfortunately, if you don’t meet this criterion you will have to purchase your ticket at the standard rate. Sponsors will be sent their tickets in the normal way nearer to the dinner date.
